Great Show
This was a great show and great sound. It is refreshing to hear David who sings about reality. I donât have one single person representing my interest in any level of government, but I do have a folksinger to carry on the tradition and the message. As it states carved in Granite in front of the Lowell Auditorium; âTaxation Without Representation is Tyranny,â which they probably have hung a flag over to cover by now.
He reminds me a lot of Phil Ochs; who along with Jerry Rubin I once got stoned with (the dead Jerry Rubin not the live Jerry Rubin as Paul Krassner states). Hi live Jerry; I know you listen to David Rovics. Now as a cab driver when I drive some briefcase carrying exec to the airport for the corporate meeting instead of discussing things he doesnât have a clue about I will now play some of Davidâs music. It is well worth blowing away my tip.
Peace,
Dennis

damn good
i would definatly recommend this guy to anyone who likes informative and humerous and talented and great sounding music. rovics speaks what many are thinking about the government. he is a folk/bluegrass man who will probably never see the light of day. he deserves more than he will ever get. you need to take a listen
